This is a consistently terrible grocery store. Third world doesn't even describe it. It stinks when you walk in the front door it always has the prices are ridiculous yesterday 3.49 for barely edible avocados small and overall just a grim experience. The self-checkout is largely a joke .The automated machines rarely can let you check out without the help of a person and there's one person there trying to juggle a million things who cannot handle it so you can expect to wait in line a long time for self-checkout. The experience is only improved by the fact that there are several "really lovely" people who work there as cashiers who have been there for years and years.

Bought our groceries here several times during our stay at Poipu. Not as clean and bright as a bigger city grocery store like Safeway, but we were able to get everything we needed. Prices were at least competitive (if not a little better) than other chain grocery stores.

My family comes here often to do our grocery shopping. The staff are friendly and they have a wide variety of things to purchase. Last Christmas, I bought my Grandma a Jello puzzle from this store. She loved it. We even picked up wasabi oil, which has been very good
