Long Beach Guitar Repair

My Taylor guitar had been rode hard and put away wet for years and the frets were buzzing like a beehive. It was my lucky stars that brought me to Guillermo and John at their repair shop. They did a great job refretting, hydration, neck set, and a neck crack fix. I could have had the Taylor shop do the same work for a higher price, plus I saved around $200 in shipping. You can tell that John and Guillermo take pride in their work. It shows in the quality of work they did for me. 6 stars!

John knows his stuff! He had my 86 MIJ Tele Custom absolutely dialed after around a week turnaround. He hand-wound and wax potted a new bridge pickup, leveled the frets, adjusted both pickups to be equal volume, and intonated it beautifully. Brand new strings and no more buzzing out on string bends. Nice low action. Guitar is studio and stage ready. Would recommend highly if you’re in need of a setup. Prices were reasonable as well. Hit up Guillermo and John!

Brought it my old strat my dad got me when I first started learning. It was used when I got it and looked rougher the longer I had it. The guys at the shop did an amazing job fixing it right back up. They adjusted my pickups, made a new nut,got a full setup, cleaned up the hardware and fixed a lot of the cosmetic issues that it's had for years. Beautiful work! This guitar has not felt or sounded as good even when I first got it! And for a great price. I highly recommend stopping by here for any repairs or adjustments you need. They also have a decent selection of guitars and offer lessons!
