First- I’d like to say this is LITERALLY my first bad review ever. I typically over review positively because I understand it’s hard to run a business and support everyone when I can. BUT this one is truly out of control. They are lucky I put 2 stars instead of 1 (originally I was going to put 1 and in the comments write “I would give 0 stars if I could”) because they did indeed solve the problem, HOWEVER!… Gave them 2 scooters for very simple issues- 1 needed tire to be inflated, another one needed 1 plastic part changed (light cover) and the balancer. Essentially 2 small pieces, no motor nothing crazy. First scooter they said was done after 2-3 weeks or so, I picked it up, took it out, and the tire was indeed flat again. Causing me to take my 75lb scooter back to them again. Anyways, shortly after they fixed it and it was good. NOW! The second scooter. Those 2 pieces took them 5 MONTHS TO FINISH! 5 freaking months. It took my Mercedes 6 months to get a freaking brand new engine to come by ship from Germany, are you kidding me. I called many times ( most of which I was promised a call back but that would never happen, only happened once at the very last time when I called them very upset ). They told me “parts take too long to come from Segway”, month after that they told me “some pieces in the batch came broken”, but upon checking, literally same day texted me it’s done. Which obviously means my scooter was laying there FOR MONTHS over a 5 minute issue which shows they clearly just have poor management systems that causes crazy delays until you kick them. Met the owner, was a super nice guy, and in general their attitude was good, but just HORRIBLE service quality. Oh, and guess what, got the scooter back dead ( gave it to them with 35 miles of range btw idk what testing they did or just left it on at the store, regardless that was wasted ), BUT, I’m getting a tire issue now on this scooter WHICH WAS NEVER EVEN THE ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE! It’s not soft, so I’d assume it’s over pumped , but idk. Now when I turn it on to go, I first have to wait like 10 seconds for the issue to go away and then go. And I can’t take it back to fix bc I moved far away, but even if I could, it would take them another 2 months to fix it (AT LEAST). Anyways, problems were solved, but at what time cost, multiple issues with returning, endless complains ( at least 5 times total I called them through out the service, I think closer to 7-8 ), and the biggest headache a service related facility has ever caused me. More than any car service I’ve been to ( and I’m a car guy ). Idk if there are better spots in Long Beach, but only go to these guys if this is not your main method of transportation for every day/ work or have a backup vehicle ( thankfully which I had ).
