I live in a 1938 brick home in Tallahassee’s Los Robles neighborhood, and when Lloyd Roofing Company removed my old roof, they uncovered major issues from the previous installation—large gaps along the brick edge, improperly attached drip edge, and more than 20 boards of rotten decking. None of it was up to code, so additional work was needed to properly rebuild the roof structure. The final cost was a shock compared to the original estimate, but Lloyd’s team was transparent throughout the process and showed me exactly what they were finding and why it needed to be fixed. They also worked with me to help soften the financial blow. Dylan, Colbert, and their crew were professional, hardworking, and clearly committed to doing the job right—the roofers even worked until after dark to finish. I now have a quality roof that’s up to code with a lifetime warranty, and the workmanship deserves five stars. My only suggestion would be better communication about additional costs as issues arise, rather than at the end of the project. Overall, I highly recommend Lloyd Roofing.
