From my first research of hotels for my Sun Valley ski trip, Knob Hill stood out. First, they were always responsive. The manager even invited me to call and talk. I saw a few negative reviews and he honestly addressed them The facility seems fully renovated and is nearly four-star level. The price is competitive with other hotels slightly closer to the ski area. They offer on-demand free shuttle service to anywhere in the area. I used that a lot. I will happily return!
This inn is charming and the short walk to town is lovely. Very, very convenient to skiing. The beautiful breakfast is included in your stay, but gosh dang, across a 5 day stay, I didn’t see ANYONE besides my husband and I leaving a tip on the table. Wow. If you can afford a $400-$500 a night room and lift tickets at $225 per day, you can leave a $5 or $10 on the table. Sheesh. (And your room)
Just booked 3 rooms with Manny for this resort. Manny was very patient and knowledgeable, regarding all the questions we all had, and we are very much looking forward to staying here to celebrate my Mom’s 65th birthday! Will followup after our stay as well.
