I took my 2014 Chrysler to his shop to have it lowered. The shop placed in new coilovers and did a brake job. I have no complaints. The price was competitive.
I drove the car on Ortega Highway and with the new suspension, it was a marvelous fun ride. I used my paddle shifters and my 300 stuck to the road. I can’t wait to take it back and have him do the strut brace and higher performance role bars.
As I said, I have no complaints about the work and the quality of the work. I was told to bring it back in every 2000 miles and they will rotate the tires. I find JR to be a man of his word and he cares about his customers. Can’t say enough, good things about the process and the end results. The service and staff are great
The BEST customer service!! Extremely helpful getting the tires I needed. I was unable to find it anywhere around, but they were able to get it within 40 minutes. Even though it was later in the day, they didn't tell me I had to wait until tomorrow. And they found an issue with one of my other tires I didn't even know about, JR made sure I was aware of it. No other place has ever done that for me before. I really, really appreciated the information. I will for sure be going back to them!
I brought my 2021 Mustang GT here for an alignment after getting it lowered on coilovers. I told them exactly what was wrong — the steering wheel was crooked and the camber was way off. I dropped the car off expecting it to be fixed after paying for a proper alignment.
Three hours later, I picked it up and immediately noticed nothing had changed. The steering wheel was still crooked, the camber was still bad, and the ride height was still uneven — basically the exact same as when I brought it in.
I went back the next day and spoke directly with JR. I told him what happened, and he said something like, “The mechanics couldn’t adjust the camber anymore; there’s no room left to work with.” He also blamed the coilover install, saying they were “left uneven.” But the truth is, they clearly didn’t even touch the alignment.
To be sure, I took my car to another shop the same day — and they proved it. The alignment sheet from JR’s was almost all red, and the one from the new shop right after showed everything fixed. The difference speaks for itself.
What really made it worse was the lack of communication. I called JR’s Wheels and Tires afterward, and they told me JR would call me back — but he never did. No call, no apology, nothing.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was honestly disappointing and frustrating. I paid for an alignment that was never done right, and then got ignored when I tried to reach out. I definitely wouldn’t recommend taking your car here if you expect honest work or good customer service.
They lifted my Tahoe. I think they did an outstanding job at it, I got to keep the wheels I had and liked, they provided the exact tire size and brand I wanted and I agreed to small modifications to be able to fit the tires without rubbing against plastics and if I don't look closely, I don't even notice such modifications. They also suggested to replace some parts which had some wear on them while they were at it, and I agred to changing them, I no longer hear the random squeak the truck used to make over speed bumps. Lastly, they have options as fas as how tall you can go and the prices and labor are great. Short-term review, If I had another vehicle that I wanted to lift, I would come here again.
I'm attaching the before and after pictures for better description.
Truck when I brought it in had 305/50/R20"s and after the lift, 35x12.5x20's
