We replaced the windows on the north side of our house, which was built in 1938, so I was skeptical about how well new windows would blend in. They look completely natural on the house — no complaints there. The rooms on that side are noticeably warmer, and the sound dampening is impressive compared to the old single-pane windows we had. Installation-wise, they did it right. Proper flashing tape on the sill and jambs, foam in multiple passes to fill the rough opening, and they even filled the old weight pockets in the wood frames with insulation. Interior trim work was clean, caulked well, and came out with no damage to the existing trim. You get what you pay for, we will use them for more windows in the future!

Illinois Energy Windows & Siding replaced 10 windows on our home. We are completely satisfied with the new windows. The installers were polite, professional, and respectful of our home. They put runners on the floor throughout the house and left everything clean, vacuuming as they worked. They worked very efficiently as it was a cooler day and the house did not get cold. The windows look great and work great. Our old windows didn't all lock or open and close easily. Also, they were very drafty. The new windows operate very smoothly and keep the cold wind out.

We hired Illinois Energy to replace kitchen windows and garage door to the house. Our sales person Tom was very knowledgeable and professional. The installation of the windows and door by Jerry was skillful and done in a timely manner and also very professional. I’m very happy with this product and this was a second time using this company.
