I selected this company for washer repair based on the amount of positive reviews and the quality of the website (photos and number of different appliances they offer to repair). That being said, I was surprised when my repairman showed up in a personal vehicle with no markings, no uniform, no name tag, nothing at all that showed he was from this company (their website shows a fleet of vehicles with their logo on it as well as employees wearing items with their company name on it). That being said, it doesn’t mean the repairman wasn’t qualified to do the task. It just made me feel like I was duped by what is portrayed vs what showed up. The second issue I had with this service was a language barrier that made it very hard for us to understand each other. It was awkward at best and there were a couple of times where I left our conversation genuinely not knowing if he knew what I was telling him about my washer. And I definitely was not tracking all of what he was telling me. I finally understood the repair when he showed me on his phone the estimate that was sent to him (based on his conversations with the office I’m guessing). It was over $500 for a drain pump replacement, labor and tax. At the end, I declined the repair and just paid for the service call. I just did not feel comfortable paying that much without someone being able to walk me through how they came to that diagnosis.
