Howard's Locksmith Service

Great service at a reasonable price. I needed a spare smart key for our 4Runner. Howard’s ordered a Toyota brand key fob which was quickly delivered. They programmed the key in minutes and did the job for less than half the overpriced dealer rate. I could have gone online to order a knockoff fob and rented a programming tool and done the job myself. But I honestly think that route would have cost the same or a bit more. And who knows if the knockoff fob would have lasted. I’ll for sure have Howard’s do any lock related things from here on out.

I broke my remote to unlock my truck and fully expected to spend over $50.00. After a discussion with the locksmith at Howard’s, he took the pieces that were broken and put them in a new shell. Everything still worked! There was not even a reprogramming fee. Prior to that I called The Dealership who asked no questions and wanted at minimum $110.00... and it would have to be ordered. I was very impressed that this little mom and pop shop had the item I needed in stock AND asked questions which in turn saved me money! THE BEST! After being stranded by Payne’s A-1 Towing (through my roadside assistance) with a lockout, I looked up Howard’s and I AM SO HAPPY I DID! The gentleman was polite on the phone, showed up in 20 minutes, and had my car unlocked in seconds. He was totally professional & friendly, too! If you happen to need a locksmith for an old pickup truck, Howard’s is your guy!

Great little local place. I was surprised with their capabilities and variety of services. They were friendly, and knowledgeable. The sign says "Bike Shop," but it is indeed a locksmith as well. Parking is pretty typical for down town, but not terribly inconvenient.
