Howard's Locksmith Service

Great service at a reasonable price. I needed a spare smart key for our 4Runner. Howard’s ordered a Toyota brand key fob which was quickly delivered. They programmed the key in minutes and did the job for less than half the overpriced dealer rate. I could have gone online to order a knockoff fob and rented a programming tool and done the job myself. But I honestly think that route would have cost the same or a bit more. And who knows if the knockoff fob would have lasted. I’ll for sure have Howard’s do any lock related things from here on out.

I broke my remote to unlock my truck and fully expected to spend over $50.00. After a discussion with the locksmith at Howard’s, he took the pieces that were broken and put them in a new shell. Everything still worked! There was not even a reprogramming fee. Prior to that I called The Dealership who asked no questions and wanted at minimum $110.00... and it would have to be ordered. I was very impressed that this little mom and pop shop had the item I needed in stock AND asked questions which in turn saved me money! I offered a tip and he said, “no thank you, this is my job-I’m being paid already. Just tell your friends.” So friends, I’m telling you that the locksmith at Howard’s in BG is outstanding, very professional, friendly, honest and also quick. I was there less than 15 minutes and may end up buying a bicycle!! Check them out!! I was impressed!!
