Very professional company to work with, and they did an excellent job, replacing our chimney cap and many bricks and water-damaged masonry around the top of the chimney. Also in Elmhurst as in many towns with smaller lots, they had the specialized scaffolding to make all the repairs with limited space to set up. Henry's Pricing was very fair as well compared to others I also accepted bids from, so I would highly recommend this company!
We live in Glen Ellyn and noticed the mortar on our chimney was crumbling and a few bricks were starting to loosen. Henry and his team came out, did a full inspection, and recommended chimney tuck-pointing to stop the damage before it turned into a bigger repair. I was really happy they matched the mortar color really well, the lines look clean, and the chimney feels solid again. They were on time, kept everything neat, and explained what they did step-by-step. If you need tuck pointing done right, these are the people to call.
After a heavy rain we noticed leaking near our fireplace and some loose bricks on the chimney. Henry inspected everything, showed us photos of the damage, and gave us a straight answer on what needed to be fixed (no pressure). The repair was done quickly, the brickwork matches great, and the leak is gone. Professional, honest, and easy to work with.
We are super happy with a full house tuckpointing by Henry and his team. Henry was fantastic about walking us through various options available and even did several samples on the back of our home to help us make a decision. The full team was friendly, professional and even kind enough to bring tamales to share one day! Our home was built in the 1940s and the brick needed a lot of work, it now looks practically new. We are no longer considering painting our brick as a result. Countless neighbors have complimented the work. Would hire them again!
Henry and his team did an awesome job refinishing bricks around the corner of my house. My wife and I were having issues with bricks flaking that was due to moisture. Henry’s experience came through as he recognized the problem immediately. He also noted that the bricks are no longer manufactured as my home was built in the late 60’s. Additionally, he recognized where the seal along our porch may need to be redone as well as the tuckpointing in an area by the bricks in question. This would’ve only happened with Henry as he was looking at the corner and the overall aesthetic impression when approaching the house. His team came out and refinished the bricks and brought that corner back to its original state. I truly believe that Henry’s artistic background coupled with his experience, he was able to match the color and texture of the original bricks. We are so happy with the results that you can’t even tell there was ever an issue. Thank you Henry and team. I really appreciate your help in resolving our issue and your firm will be who we call for any brick and masonry work!
