High Country Stoves & Fireplaces

We had Larry and his team install a new Hearthstone Woodstove and replace our chimney of 40 years in the summer of 25. The woodstove has an area of 1200 square feet with a very high ceiling to heat. We had problems with the last wood stove venting, getting it started and keeping the 2nd floor of the house warm. The new stove High Country put in keeps it 73 degrees in here even on the sub zero and high winds days. It's nice to wear shorts and a "t" shirt in the house in January. The stove starts up immediately with very little kindle and newspaper. When the inspector from Cheyenne came out for final inspection he commented on how everything was done perfectly. James family and crew are all very kind and knowledgeable. We spoke with both Becky and Larry, and after deciding on a stove, were able to get on the schedule within a week. We had to replace our 30 year old pellet stove (one they had originally installed in '94) and they made the process a breeze. Luke and Erick were professional and clean. We're very grateful for them all for their help and skill, and we will continue to use them for our pellet stove needs. Thank you!!

Rudest person I have experienced in quite a long time. Would like to warn others not to ruin their day by walking into this place. I have sourced stove parts here and my family owns a contracting/construction business and we will make sure not to source anything from High Country Stoves or recommend them to our customers. I have heard terrible things from many others in the business and now I have seen proof for myself. I will be letting others know of my terrible experience by word of mouth as well. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m embarrassed this business is a part of our community. I hope other community members can look past how obnoxiously rude the owner and staff are of High Country Stoves, and still appreciate the other great businesses and individuals that Laramie has to offer.
