I had 4 tires put on my Volkswagen Beetle at Henrys by mechanics Jason and Sam. The tires were very reasonable in price especially being new, alignment and balancing was going to be done, and disposal of the old tires. This was my first time at Henrys and I am so glad I went there. My family members have been there before and have said how amazing Henry’s is. I am so incredibly happy with how the tires came out. They were so kind and helpful on the phone and in person. The waiting area is beautiful as well. I love the text message overview of the tire appointment which explained an issue the mechanics found which I wasn’t aware of and thankful the mechanics found. I booked another appointment at Henry’s to fix the issue because of how professional and nice the mechanics are. Thank you so much Sam and Jason the tires are so new and clean 🚙🛞🧰
My only problem is that it would have been great if the tech checked the air pressure on the other tires not being replaced. How long would that have taken. The only tire that had the proper air pressure was the new tire. I had to fill the other 3 to get it to the right air pressure when I got home because of a message on the dash panel. Otherwise, they are wonderful for my tire needs. I would have given them 5 star because the service is great.
Edited: *They called me back to check out my rim and even though owner didn’t like that I wrote this, he did end up taking care of me and I got a call back that they are going to fix my rim. This did take about 2 weeks to happen but people get busy. It sucks that things prior to this happened and I was only so annoyed because I take very good care of my vehicles, so it made me annoyed a really well respected tire shop would be the one to do this. Nonetheless they admitted that it was their fault and ultimately they agreed to fix it without much hassle. And even though they could’ve continued to give me attitude, they didn’t. Just know that this situation may not happen to you but if it does, I know from experience that they do try their best to accommodate their mistakes even if they don’t want to. If you have a luxury vehicle or even just something you take good care of, just pay attention and if something does happen don’t worry.*
If I could give this place a zero star I would. I made a weekend appointment because of my busy school schedule for 10am. I dropped it off and the young man at the front desk was very respectful and told me it would be done before 12 because they close at 1 pm (technically). It was about 11:35-11:40 when I decided to go to the shop just in case they forgot to call. I waited in line for a few minutes ( this is important for timeline). Front desk person Jason tells me my car is next around 11:50-11:55. This was a drop off appointment, but he tells me to take a seat. Thank god I didn’t because I would’ve waited for almost another hour because they called me at 12:41 to tell me my vehicle was all set, 2 hrs and 41 minutes after I dropped it off. It takes a few minutes to close house lights, set the alarm, etc. calls me again at 1:01 to ask where I am because they closed at 1. Mind you they have had my car for almost 3 hours. It is not my problem your techs took this long to get a car all set (all I got was a patch and balance). He tells me “we aren’t perfect”, which yes nobody is perfect. But you expected me to be at the shop asap. I’m not the one who took almost 3 hrs to do a job. Businesses make appointments to get clients out at certain times so others can come in. Through all of this my tone stayed respectful and I tried not to flip out. He tells me that he’s not going to argue with me and “they want to get out at a certain time too. Again, that’s a tech and front desk problem that it wasn’t done as early as they wanted. To top it all off they also “curb rashes” the rim they worked on (it was only passenger side rear). I’ve added some pics and you can tell it was that wheel by the oil residue from the techs gloves. I didn’t notice this in their driveway but even if I did it wouldn’t matter because they locked the dirt right after I stepped out to grab my car. I have had this car for almost 4 years now and I try my best to stay away from curbs and I park in a driveway at home with no curbs. I had a gut feeling this would happen so I have also attached a before picture of the same wheel. If it was owner error, the front passenger wheel would also be curbed (also pic shown for proof). I am keeping my receipt and calling on Monday, refinishing wheels isn’t cheap. I do plan on taking this to small claims court if issue isn’t resolved which should be easy with all the evidence I have which I have already had a lawyer confirm I have enough valid evidence.
I pulled my truck in told him what I needed. Asked about future projects that need to be done on my vehicle. They were more than informative. Got the job done in a timely manner and where is polite could be. I will definitely be returning to do more business with Henrys Tire their crew is solid And knowledgeable. Thanks a lot guys. See you soon. Walter Taylor
