I seldom write bad reviews but this store was extremely dishonest. The only reason why I am giving two stars instead of one is because they were never rude to my wife and I. Long story short I was recommended by a very successful realtor friend who buys from this store on a very frequent basis. My friend told me that they have good deals and even brands like GE, Whirlpool, etc. When I walked in, I told the salesperson (Lanky Asian guy with a buzz cut and colorful sneakers) that my wife and I purchased both a gas stove and fridge from Best Buy but they aren't installing the stove so we need to order from a place that does installation. He said they do installations and haul away which was perfect. Then all he showed me were appliance brands I never heard of. To be fair, the appliances did look nice aesthetically but I specifically asked if they have brands like Whirlpool and GE and the salesperson told me no they don't have that. I texted my friend immediately and he said that his sister literally just bought a gas stove for $600 yesterday. I then told the salesperson my friend buys here all the time and just purchased a stove for $600 yesterday, but since he already lied he just stayed wrong and strong. Even towards the end when I asked him if he had a catalogue where he can show me other options and he said no all they had were the displays. I have never been to an appliance store that doesn't have a catalogue or a system in their computer that shows more than what's on display. I am not sure why he was trying to sucker me into buying appliances that were $1800+ which was fine as long as my wife liked it, but what I didn't like was the dishonesty. I guess I gave him the impression I didn't have a budget which I really didn't, but if I am going to spend money, I am going to spend it with a place that's not actively trying to screw me over. I was very polite and courteous when I walked in, and my wife is an extremely sweet lady so I'm not sure why we were treated as such. I ended up going elsewhere spending about $5,000 on appliances anyway because the other place was honest and genuine. Also, the way this guy answered questions was extremely shady. I asked him how long would the $1800+ stove he's showing me would last, he went from saying 20 years and when I asked him if he was sure, he said maybe 10. I also told him I didn't trust the brands he was showing me and wanted something I was more familiar with and he tried to downplay Whirlpool as if it wasn't a trusted brand. There was another guy who answered the phones sitting up front who may have been the owner, and he seemed like he didn't care about anything. I called my friend right away and he said that's crazy and maybe I should have spoke to them in Mandarin. Overall, I hate when people try and play games with me. (Side note: These local appliance store associates are just looking to make a commission, whereas, the big box stores have associates that get paid hourly so they are more honest from my experience.)
