I had a issue over the weekend with my gas fireplace staying lit. I left a message for Abraham, and even though it was a holiday, he promptly returned my call and scheduled a visit the same day. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything thoroughly, and the repairs were made at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use him again.
Very nice gentleman. Did amazing work on our fireplace re model. Re modeled our bathroom also. I always call Abraham when I need any maintenance or repairs or re model work. Does amazing work.
Hammer's Unlimited Construction installed my pellet stove and I couldn't be happier. On Thanksgiving Day the auger on the pellet stove got jammed. I called him and he came out right away and discovered that my diamond ring that I lost is a bag of pellets had got jammed the auger. He retrieved it and all was good.
Hammer was able to repair our gas fireplace that other services could not. We have had problems since the day it was installed. I was about to take a sledgehammer to the fireplace because I was tired of calling and spending money for something that was working. I called Hammer and he figured it out. He didn't charge me for following up. I will only use him from now on.
DO NOT HIRE - Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Inappropriate Behavior Abraham botched a simple fireplace repair and has consistently failed to make it right. In December 2022, he claimed to fix our fireplace but never actually replaced the faulty igniter. When we discovered this the following winter (December 2023), we reached out multiple times. He promised to fix it for free but then ghosted us—never returning calls or scheduling the repair. After a full year of no-shows and ignored calls, we tried again in December 2024. Radio silence. When I finally reached him in 2025, he suddenly claimed the work “wasn’t under warranty”—despite the fact that he never completed the original job properly. When he finally agreed to come out, he called upon arrival demanding extra payment because it was a holiday—a charge he never mentioned when scheduling. When I reasonably asked him to come the next day instead, he became hostile. He later texted claiming he was “just joking” about the extra charge, then immediately blocked my number. Completely unprofessional. Worse yet: He made repeated racist and sexually inappropriate comments, including remarks about “Chinese steel” in the Bay Bridge and referring to me as “that cute little Asian girl.” This behavior is completely unacceptable. Summary: Substandard work, two years of broken promises, attempts to overcharge, and racist/inappropriate comments. There are plenty of qualified, professional handymen in the area—save yourself the headache and find someone else.
