What kind of lock "SMITH" refuses to cut a blank just because it wasn't purchased in store? I'd still like to pay for the service itself! Its not like my blank is made from diamonds and would kill their cutter. Ended up having Onyx Locksmiths drive right to me and cut my 3 keys in a Home Depot parking lot after HD also refused to cut it (more understandable as they arent LockSMITHs, they are minimum wage employees with little training). Seems like a huge impotency and handicap for a smith. Maybe there is a good reason for the policy but it seems silly.

Fortier's is great. In 2016 they installed a deadbolt in my rather thin 150 year old door. It still works perfectly. Recently they replaced the deadbolt in another heavier door. Keith spent some extra time adjusting the door (my old house shifts over time) to make the whole thing work like new. He worked carefully and efficiently. The price in both cases was surprisingly reasonable. 5 stars are well-deserved.

Just came back from there. If you don't buy a key from them don't bother going there! No cut for you. I used to love this place but since the move I give it 2 stars! I know locksmiths that doesn't have a problem cutting keys not in there inventory. We are a small repair shop that can program keys not cut them. I can care less about a warranty none needed! Just a key cut.

If I could give a 10, I would. Went to the dealer to get a chip key made for my truck they told me I had to make an appointment because they had to program the chip. I went to Fortiers and got right in, 10 minutes later, the keys were done!!! I was amazed, service was quick, and of course, service with a smile. Price was also cheaper than Dealer.
