I hired Fernandez and Sons to rebuild the 40 year old stone retaining wall in front of my house. The result far exceeded my expectations. The wall is beautiful and was completed in the promised timeframe. The property was left in pristine condition that included seeding the front lawn, mulching, and removing all construction debris. Fernandez and Sons also power washed and rehabilitated the 40 year old masonry walls and steps in the back of my house. They meticulously removed and replaced damaged mortar on the walls and steps. The stairs also required resetting many of the stones. The walls and steps look beautiful. I also use Fernandez and Sons for snow removal and general landscaping services. The snow is cleared efficiently and in a timely fashion after each storm. The landscaping service is also very efficient and reliable. Victor is very easy to work with and the office staff is very responsive, friendly, and competent. I highly recommend Fernandez and Sons.

Summer of 2022 I wanted a raised garden built on my front lawn where I had 2 large trees removed. I had a rough idea of what I wanted. Jose came out and we scoped out the job. There were several challanges. There were large tree roots to be taken out, the property was on a pitch and there was an electric line to avoid, The contract was to build a retaining wall to create the garden, fill it with dirt and topsoil and plant a red maple as a center piece and several other plants. The job took 2 days and the work was first rate. We thought that the maple tree died and Jose came out to check it out. He felt that it had just gone dormant early. Back to the summer of 2023. The maple tree was fine and the initial plants have matured. I addded several seasonal plants. I get a good amount of pedestrian traffic on my block and many people stop to admire the garden. I have also seen people taking photographs of it. I am very pleased.
