Matthew was an absolute professional! I dropped off 7 watches. 6 were ready within the hour, one was a PITA, one needed an additional quote. The gave me my military discount without me even asking. Fast, friendly, and effectively made a new customer! Thanks team. Matthew, thank you for being so friendly and helpful during my check-in… I know now why your shop has 10x reviews vs the other local shops. Keep it up guys!!!
Sam the jeweler is fantastic. Was able to size my engagement ring for my fiancé‘s ring and polished it and had done in less than 45 minutes. Anybody in need of any jewelry work I highly recommend coming to see Sam.
The people working here don't know anything about jewelry! I first noticed when I walked in and they put my watch on the counter without any type of protection, and I know for a fact that is a nono with any type of jewelry. I brought in a vintage Seiko that needed the metal clasp fixed because it was not working. They decided to do some laser work if you could call what they did laser work. They did not fix a thing and if anything messed up the clasp even more. Then they lied to me and said that the clasp on the watch was a brand new one that they ordered but it was not it was the same original clasp that I had brought in with the watch. I as... I asked to just take my watch home because they were making things worse, and somehow I had to pay them $92. For what? For messing up the watch even more? I had to talk to the manager over the phone days later and ended up picking my watch up. I will never come back to this place nor I recommend walking in. The lack of professionalism and knowledge makes it a bad experience for the customer.
Sam and Chance are the best! Go to them for all of your jewelry needs!!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my jewelry. They can also get you whatever you need.
Guys, come on - this is just not serious. The price for a battery replacement depends on the value of the watch?! And in the end - $60 just to replace a battery?! Are you serious? You can try to scam clueless people, but honestly, even they deserve better. The real price for a battery replacement is $10-15 max, including the battery (~1 min of work). I only didn’t want to scratch the case - that was the only reason I came in. But for that price?!? I grabbed pliers, opened the back, took the battery out - 30 seconds. Figured out which battery it was, didn’t even waste time searching - drove straight to Battery Source of East Jacksonville and... Guys, come on - this is just not serious. Figured out which battery it was, didn’t even waste time searching - drove straight to Battery Source of East Jacksonville and bought it (cuz I’m not sure that Walmart has it). Put the new battery in - ~10 seconds and everything work. Total: Battery costs about $5, Replacement takes less than a minute, And you want $60 for that?! That’s not okay. I do not recommend this place - they clearly treat customers like dumb and instead of a fair, reasonable price, they try to squeeze out as much money as possible.
