Family Dental Center of Blair

My son came home from school with a family dental center business card. I reached out put through their website to schedule appointments for both of my sons and received an email back the next morning. It was SO easy to schedule appointments through email and I was able to get my sons in very quickly for a routine clean. Their office is very clean! The receptionists, hygienists and dentists are all so friendly. It was my children’s first time at the dentist and they were a bit nervous but the entire staff made their experience easy, incredibly fast, and enjoyable. My kids can’t wait to go back to the dentist. 5 stars — Thank you!!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted last Friday at Family Dental Center of Blair. She had such an incredible experience, everyone kept her comfortable as she had anxiety leading up to the procedure. Her nurse was so sweet, the doctor that performed the procedure was thorough, gentle, with perfect bedside manner. Before her procedure, I was nervous because I am only familiar with wisdom teeth being removed while under sedation, and I’m so Happy we ended up going here. She’s healing perfectly and we are incredibly grateful we found Family Dental Center of Blair.

Just moved to town and was trying to keep things local for convenience for me and my children. When it was our turn to be seen they basically were insisting that I could not be in the room with my kids as there were being looked at. Had us all separated in different rooms thankfully they were all next to each other. When I asked if when my kids were done with there cleanings if they could please come in the room with me and sit in the chair in the corner till I was finished so I could keep an eye on them. They said it wouldn’t be an issue. When my kids were finished they had them go to the waiting room by themselves (9 and 5) without letting me know that’s what they were doing. I got them to let my 5 year old sit with me but not my oldest unfortunately. When my cleaning was almost done she was giving my mouth a final rinse and I had sensitivity on my back teeth and she was drilling it with cold water for longer then just a rinse it almost felt like I was going to choke had to spit out the water from my mouth. And all she said was sorry our water gets really cold not sure if it was intentional or not but it sure did feel like it. Not even sure honestly if they finished the cleaning because I just sat up and they started mumbling something I just wanted to leave. The assistant was amazing very friendly and bubbly Megan I think her name was the assistants for my kids I can’t say that for them very rude and standoffish. Whole place gave me a bad vibe from the jump with someone with high anxiety I would not recommend.
