During a routine chimney cleaning, Jorge discovered some cracks in my chimney tile. He suggested installing a stainless-steel liner along with a few other necessary repairs. At first, the price seemed high, so I decided to get a second opinion from another company in Austin. That inspector, without knowing about the first inspection, found the same problem but recommended a different repair method, which actually cost even more. I also noticed that the first company's solution included a lifetime guarantee, while the other option only offered a 10-year warranty and was pricier. I eventually decided to move forward with the first company's recommended repairs. Getting the chimney fixed was truly the best decision—my only regret was not doing it sooner. Now, after seeing all the work involved, I understand the cost and feel it was totally justified. Since the repairs, my fireplace has never worked better, and the draft is excellent. I’m really happy with the outcome!
