I Highly recommend Emmett’s fireplace and Ken, their master craftsman. I requested that Ken come out to do some additional fireplace enhancements. Ken arrived promptly and did a phenomenal job, even though there was a hail storm! That’s what I call customer service! Appreciate you Ken. Best regards, Guy
This company is unreliable when it comes to service. They installed my Lopi Cape Cod 10 years ago and I’ve called for service a few times over the years. Initially rain was coming in the house and they never came out to do the repair. Not once have they showed up for a repair appointment. The latest was yesterday. Waited 6 weeks for an appointment for ann inspection because too much smoke is leaking from the stove pipe. I scheduled work off yesterday. They called last minute to cancel with no explanation.
What happened to this business? We purchased our first wood burning stove from them in 1982. We had them install a gas burning unit in our fireplace about 6 years ago. Always had a great product and professional service. We recently went back to have a gas insert installed in our basement fireplace. We were given a quote with an "estimated" installation. When I asked for someone to come out to give me a specific installation price they wanted to charge me $150? I live less than a 1/2 mile from their Romeo store. Even though I thought that was steep I decided to bite the bullet and I called back to schedule an appointment. Was told by whoever answered the phone to leave a message with the sale rep... never called me back. Not sure what's going on here, but it is not the same place that I have recommended to many friends.
Recently, I required service on my gas fireplace. I was fortunate enough to have Ken as my service technician. Ken was delightful. He was quite knowledgeable, and thorough patient with my many questions and very respectful of my home. I feel quite comfortable recommending Emmett’s to my friends and family. If you need service, be sure to ask for Ken!

It started with a very helpful and knowledgeable sales team and ended with a perfect installation. I received the best possible value for my investment.
