Eastern Iowa Fence & More

Last year (summer 2019) I contacted several fence companies to bid on the fence I was envisioning putting in. It was a combination of a powder-coated aluminum and privacy cedar wood fence. Although all of the bids I received were good, the bid Mark provided from Eastern Iowa Fence was the most comprehensive - it was easy to see that he understood the details that I expected down to the exact placement of the gates. Once they got started, installation was quick. Mark stopped by each day to check on the crew and made sure to touch base with me each time he was onsite. This turned out to be quite important! Mark noticed that there were some stringers that were not perfectly level and a post that also was not plumb. Instead of trying to dismiss it as 'close enough' Mark had his crew remove the sections of fence and repour the post to 'make it right'. When we did the final walkthrough, he still wasn't satisfied with how the back gate swung, so he came back out the next day (on a Saturday) and redid the work himself! (with his brother) Even though he had already been paid, he wanted to make sure everything was 'just right'. That impressed me. I was incredibly pleased with the outcome.
