All of the sales ladies are awesome. They work hard to try and make things work even when the manufacturers fail/give a hard time. Lighting can be time consuming and difficult, but all of the ladies are extremely helpful, thorough, and educated about the products they are selling.

Was trying to get information on a fixture we were interested in, and there were 3-5 employees on the sales floor, yet for some reason, only a residential salesperson could provide us with the information, but they were all in a meeting, which no one could give us an estimate on how long they would be in this "meeting". Apparently no one else in the store knows how, or can be bothered, to look up product information for a customer since I guess light fixtures are more dangerous than guns and explosives, and only specially trained employees have access to, and can provide that information. Terrible business. Will never stop by again.

Showroom was great, working with Mary-kate was fun, right up until we had an issue. Unit came out defective and died in 3 hours, and some items arrived damaged. Two weeks of rarely-returned phone calls, emails, promised call backs, and feeling absolutely ignored, I'll be out the cost of reinstallation (told they only cover a small piece of it) And have yet to receive the replacement unit. Fine place if everything delivered works, but at this point I strongly wish I had gone elsewhere.

I was looking for a good ceiling fan and after going to a large lighting store in Rockville MD and feeling as if i was invisible due to lack of interest by members of the sales team I drove over to the Laurel Dominion Electric Store to try and find a ceiling fan with light. Suffice to say, I was more than satisfied. M. Kate helped me find an excellent fan/light which had all the power, style and other properties I was looking for. Prices were competitive, service was excellent. A+ Even the delivery person/driver who brought my light was professional and friendly and did not seem to mind my two dogs trying to maul him, (just kidding- my Chihuahua is noisy but his bark is worse than his bite) . Overall great service- I will only shop there for lighting in the future.
