I scheduled an energy audit twice, and both appointments were canceled on the same day. I explicitly told them I was taking time off work just for this, yet they still canceled at the last minute—twice. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, poor scheduling practices, and zero respect for customers’ time. If a company can’t even honor an appointment, I have no confidence in their ability to deliver reliable service. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re okay with wasting your time.
Lumeco contractor were very efficient as well professional and knowledgeable. I received a great experience with this company. I have received an exhaust system for my bathroom, installation in the attic and a new electric heating and cooling pump system.
We received information for the energy audit from Delmarva. We called the number provided and they gave us a date and a 10 am appointment. The day before, we received a text message saying their guy couldn't arrive where they were driving from by 10 am and would need to reschedule. They set the appointment ans apparently did not look at the address in Delaware. We scheduled this appointment according to our travel schedule and had to wait another two weeks for the initial audit. They finally arrived as scheduled and the audit went fine. They encouraged us to schedule another assessment to ensure air was not seeping out and we did for Decemb... We received information for the energy audit from Delmarva. We called the number provided and they gave us a date and a 10 am appointment. The day before, we received a text message saying their guy couldn't arrive where they were driving from by 10 am and would need to reschedule. They set the appointment ans apparently did not look at the address in Delaware. We scheduled this appointment according to our travel schedule and had to wait another two weeks for the initial audit. They finally arrived as scheduled and the audit went fine. They encouraged us to schedule another assessment to ensure air was not seeping out and we did for December 16. The day of and within an hour or two of the appointment, I received a call saying he couldn't make it and would need to reschedule. There was no reason why he couldn't make it. At this point, I told my husband to handle because we were having contractors in the house the next day for nearly a week for major renovations. People schedule according to the availability provided by the company and their personal schedules. I gave grace the first time begrudgingly and literally at the last minute, but this is not the type of customer service I expected. We have not rescheduled the additional assessment at this time.
My HVAC system just recently went out for the 3rd time after being replaced by LUMESCO back in 2021. I was not having problems with the old system that was in my home. Now, something is going wrong at least every year or year and a half. When there is a problem, you have to pay them a “service fee” of $150 and pay them a significant amount of labor once they figure out the issue. I have express much frustration with them….yes, I was yelling at them and calling the company incompetent. To my surprise, I receive a threatening, unprofessional and false email stating that I was threatening them and they will take legal action if I slander th... I replied (and have the email to prove it) that THIS IS AMERICA….THE TRUTH AND FACTS ARE NOT SLANDER!!!! Please be aware of this company…..very unprofessional and misleading. I do plan on taking legal action.
