I'd had an issue and at least 3 other repair people who came or said they would come or try to do work "under the table". It was frustrating due to the amount of time I spent connecting with them, waiting for them, or waiting for a call back and then no repair happened. These were highly rated based on recommendations from people in my neighborhood! I did my own research and decided to call District Appliance Services. I was able to schedule a reasonable appointment time in a 2 hour window, so I didn't have to wait half a day and take off work. Aziz diagnosed the problem quickly and offered to come back the next day, but as I couldn't be off work, said that he could do the same 2 hour window on Saturday. Game changer. Bonus? It was a 5 minute initial diagnostic visit so I didn't get a service charge. As it was a 2 person job with a stackable washer and dryer, he needed a second person to help him move the units. He and Mo were friendly, respectful, adept and forthright with the information I needed regarding the repair. If I were to offer any kind of feedback, I would give two notes- to take the info on kind of system so the work could be done on the initial visit (which in understand could be costly to have 2 people always working together) and also to provide the estimate on the service prior to completing it- saves from sticker shock and possibly someone not being able to pay for it at the time of service. Ultimately, it was an incredible experience and I would wholeheartedly use and recommend this business again, and I will certainly share this experience with my neighborhood listservs and FB groups. Thanks so much for excellent work in a time where we don't always get incredible service anymore.
