I have tried several times trying to fix the issues with our security systems. They kept coming out and charging us over and over. They eventually fired the guy that installed our security system. Still canβt review footage from my cameras that i spent several thousands of dollars on but donβt want to call and get charged again. Terrible company and customer service.
These guys have taken care of my security needs since 2009, thank you Shawn for being awesome, on time, and being helpful explaining the new app. Owed you guys the 5 stars a while ago π«‘

I called the week before to set up an appointment for a technician to come to my address for services. They told me that Wednesday, May 22, 2024 was clear and that I would be first on the schedule for that dayβ¦.
Itβs 1:21pm, no one has showed up yet!!!
I called at 5:48am βlast nightβ (because the sun hadnβt rose for the morning hours just yet) and explained to the βafter-hoursβ customer service agent that the technician would need an extension ladder to assist with the services Iβm requesting.
At 10:19am (this morningβ 4.5 hours later), I called and talked with another customer service agent to get an update and to reiterate an extension ladder is needed for service at my address. The agent told me the technician will call you with an ETAβ¦
I still hadnβt received a call yet. I was trying to have this service completed before all the neighbors are moving around outside and while the kids were still in schoolβso much for that idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have so many things to take care of while sitting hostage in my driveway all morning long waiting for their vehicle or a simple phone call from Custom Security to get in touch with meβ¦.
Let me guess βPlease accept our sincere apology for the inconvenienceβ

It took me the longest to figure out to βedit my reviewβ because I had to switch my google account in google maps to my secondary account, the one I wrote this disappointing reviewβ¦
Well, after the technician showed up to my address a little after 3pm, he had to wait on me because I had stepped away for a momentβ¦
When I finally made it to my driveway the technician greeted me very professionally, did the services I requested (not knowing the list of things I needed done), but from one task to another task to another task to another task to another task, he kept the same energy with a very respectful smile on his face, showing an exemplified courteous personality the whole time even though after each task was finished he didnβt know I another task waiting for himβ¦
By this time, Iβm pretty sure he had a very long day as of now, itβs after 5pm; but he showed great resilience and perseverance!!!
By 5:40pm he was finally done and again apologized again for putting me at an inconvenienceβ¦.
Jonah (the technician) deserves more than a pat on the back!!!
Custom Security as a team went above and beyond my expectationsβ¦
Wonderful job done and will definitely pass the word!!
Even though I gave a one star review initially, they deserve 10 for bouncing back from a deficit and winning a customerβs satisfaction!!!!!!!

Contacted Custom to inquire about newer equipment. My existing equipment was original to the house when purchased and has lasted way longer than expected. It is time for an upgrade.
After speaking with Arielle in sales, I was happy to discover that they could meet all of my needs, fit my schedule for the install AND the cost estimate came in under my expectations. The in home service was just as impressive. Austin (install technician) was a polite and knowledgeable professional. The install was not without location related difficulties but Austin had solutions. He answered all of my questions, addressed some concerns and then made recommendations that actually saved me even more money. My home was left as clean as it was before the install. I could not be happier with this experience and with Custom Security. Good people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
