Admittedly I was in no rush to retrieve and transfer payment to Champion Services due to some inconveniences for me of doing so. Therefore since Champion has decided to ignore/brush me off from November 2024 until a random and vague email on April 16, 2025 I figured there was no rush to arrange payment transfer. I began working with Champion in September of 2024 to have a list of work completed to my home (including roofs to 4 different structures, gutters/downspouts, siding, windows, a door, etc). There was a little back and forth with my insurance and submissions and approvals of supplemental invoices. After those things were squared away and the partial payment that I received from insurance was passed to them - work began on my home and the roof to two structures were completed before Thanksgiving. After those two items were completed I reached out several times to several individuals employed by champion collectively and separately trying to find out when the remainder of the work would be completed. One major component that remains incomplete should have been completed first as it was the reason for the claim- water damage to the the side of my house allowing water in (not the roof). I received illegitimate excuse after another (mostly suggesting that the estimate that THEY "Champion" submitted to my insurance and got fully approved, wasn't enough to cover the job) until they finally started telling me to reach out to this person or that person who would redirect me back to someone else or ignore me altogether. After receiving the run around for months I decided to try to secure another contractor to complete the work. Mysteriously a few days before I was set to meet with the new contractor to provide a deposit, Champion reached out with their vague email like I was supposed to understand what it was and as if we had been in regular communication where it made sense. I responded explaining that I haven't heard any real answers since November 2024 and that I had since selected a new contractor. I received a follow up email with an inflated bill. I explained to them that the bill was ridiculously high and that I had in my possession another bill from the start of the project after making my first payment and they went silent again until my adjuster chose to get involved. Unfortunately the adjuster decided to meet champion "more than halfway" with their inflated bill even after I showed him how they inflated line items to still obtain the same final payment that they had quoted for the complete project but now just for the roof to two structures. Even though I clearly can see how fraudulent and inconsiderate Champion is I decided not to fight the matter and take the loss on the back end which meant that all of the work my insurance originally agreed to pay for wouldn't now be completed because they wouldn't agree to increase the overall budget to compensate for the inflated bill by champion. But due to their lack of consideration for my time, the lack of consideration for the condition of my home, and the lack of consideration for how they treated my home and property I figured at least they wouldn't bother me and I could minimize my time and travel inconveniences by obtaining and transferring the final payments to both companies at the same time after all the work was completed. Contrary to my belief I was threatened with fines and liens today by an employee by the name of Donna. In addition to threats which were received by text Donna decided to follow up by email offering to complete the work as if she wasn't the same person I talked to in April explaining why I moved on with selecting a new contractor. Champion is unorganized, inconsiderate, poor communicators, fraudsters, and victimizers. ***Regarding response see pictures as I ran out of characters in text review.***
We purchased new windows and can highly recommend this local family business. The whole team that we worked with us was very professional and friendly during the whole process, from picking out the style and type of windows to the installation. The windows look amazing.
