I have contacted Home Depot for a water heater installation quote. Next day I received a call and we discussed my needs. They asked for some pictures and promised to return with quotes. I had numerous follow-up texts and so far -- it's been 3 weeks -- no response.
This company is a sham. I was assigned to them by AHS to clear a stoppage in my kitchen sink and my basement bathroom which is on the same line. I was leery of them because all of the recent reviews are awful. The first plumber came out and saw the jobs and confirmed they were on the same line (which I already knew) and said he would snake the lines and hopefully would clear the clog. Unfortunately, this was after the snow storm and he could not stay because he was blocking the street and no room for him to park. Said that someone would come out the next day if I could get some room in the driveway. No problem. I spent four hours clearing a spot and no one called me. I called them the next day. They agreed to come out on Monday but actually switched it to earlier, which had me encouraged. That’s when the fun started….. The next plumber showed up and immediately seemed like he didn’t want to do the job or was there to make some more money. I asked him did the other plumber give him the update? He said yes but we don’t know if they are on the same line so I will have to look again. He immediately looked at both sinks and states that he can not snake the line because I don’t have a clean out installed in the kitchen and that we would have to get one installed first and that was not covered by the AHS warranty. Said it would cost me an additional $350, he would have to deny the AHS coverage and have to go through his company to fix. I knew this was a lie bc I have had to P trap under the sink removed before to have the pipe snaked. Took all of 30 seconds to remove before. I did agree to have it done but the last straw was when he said he would have to come back another day. I let him leave an shopped around for another plumber. I ended up using another plumber who had outstanding ratings. He did charge me more because of the urgent service request. Took off the p trap and snaked the line clear from the kitchen that cleared both sinks. Since the coverage was denied I ended up losing my $125 service fee. Long story short, don’t use them, they are a bunch of crooks. They use their AHS contract to get their foot in the door to try to charge more.
This company is a joke. They took my deductible to come out to fix a leaking pipe. The technician came out, and took a look and said it might be the neighbor pipe and told me to call homeowner insurance. The neighbor opened their wall and no leak, i called them back, they said they would not able to come out until 7 days later. Meanwhile my house have an active leak - water leaking out the pipes into wall and carpet- how professional is that? I have to call different plumber to fix the pipe. Please stay way from these people and this company
I had an amazing experience with this company! I’m actually very surprised by some of the reviews. I worked with Mary to purchase my water heater and installation. I was talking to several different companies to gather quotes and Mary was by FAR the most knowledgeable and friendly of them all which is ultimately what made me decide to go with them. She made the experience easy and was available for any questions I had and there was a lot of questions so I’m surprised she didn’t get frustrated with me but she didn’t, I could tell she’s been doing this for a while. My installation was done by a gentleman named Tyler who was very professional and also very knowledgeable, he kept everything nice and clean and explained everything that he did as well as what routine maintenance should be done. There is no question at all that I will be calling Mary at Brick Street to do any future plumbing work I need.
