When pulling my mouthpiece out of my trumpet that was stuck, the man that runs the front made two noticeable scratches in my $84 Bach 3S mouthpiece that exposed the brass below the silver coating. He seemed embarrassed and said that he'd fix it - when I picked it up he had cleaned my trumpet and polished my mouthpiece very nicely but the two scratches are very obviously still there. He charged me full price ($217) for the service. I've come here in the past and I've had good experiences with his cleaning and maintenance, but the customer service after scratching my mouthpiece was below average - I'll be taking my instruments elsewhere in the future.
