Pat did an absolutely amazing job at restoring our furniture! We had several pieces that were damaged in a home fire with heavy smoke damage he restored them to better than new quality and look fantastic. From the quality of the repairs to the fabric upholstery he involved us with every step of the way. This review is long overdue, given that I reached out to Bowen's Furniture back in April to reupholster some outdoor couch cushions and they quoted me for the job and turned it around all within two weeks. I am overwhelmed by how beautifully it all turned out! Patrick, the owner, looked at the cushions, gave me options for how to enhance them (as they were old, thin and very worn); he also advised me on the design when I made requests that, frankly, would have been a mistake. The final product was better than new and so well crafted. On top of it all, Patrick is such a delightful person to communicate with--you can tell he has a joy for what he does and he takes great pride in his work (I got to tour his workshop and look at some of the other projects he was working on). I will be going to Patrick for all my reupholstering and refurbishing needs. He's absolutely the best.

We purchase a Hancock & Moore leather sofa, chair and ottoman about 25 years ago. The sofa and ottoman are in very good condition, but the leather on the chair needed to be replaced or repaired. We priced a replacement Hancock & Moore chair and talked with local upholsters about having the chair recovered in leather. The cost of a new chair pricy and none of the local upholsters were interested in taking on the job. We found Bowen's Furniture Enhancement through an internet search and after exchanging a couple of emails traveled to Dover to look at Patrick’s leather samples. One of the samples was very close to the color we needed and Patrick agreed to repair the damaged sections of the chair, while retaining as much of the original leather as possible. The work performed was exceptional, the new leather is an excellent match the couch and ottoman. I was somewhat skeptical contacting Bowen's Furniture Enhancement because there was such a negative review about the company. But needing a chair done, and wanting to support local, I figured I'd email him a photo and go from there as instructed from their website. Well, I received a quote the following morning ($125 to redo the chair not including fabric) and figured I'd go for it. I dropped the chair off on a Friday, and at that time I met Patrick, who owns the company. He offered to give me some swatches to take home or said that if I pick one from the bins he'd do it for 10$ a yard-an absolute steal! One week later, Patrick called me to inform me the chair was done and even offered to drop it off at my house, which he did, free of charge. I hadn't even paid him yet! He said mail, drop off or leave the money and he'd pick it up but not to worry about it. That is customer service and why I love small business. For 140$ to redo a chair is a great price, and they did an amazing job. Will I go back? Without a doubt. Please use these guys for all your enhancement, they do great work.
