We used Big Bob’s to rip up the carpet and update the hardwood on our first floor, and I can’t express how happy we are! From quote to installation, Big Bob’s made it such an easy process. They were very responsive to any concerns we had, and made us feel very confident throughout the entire process. Dario and his crew are the best of the best - we are so happy with the work and would highly recommend to everyone!
We were happy there was no pressure when picking out our carpet; the salespeople were friendly without being pushy. We were really happy with the hard-working installers. However, we were a little disappointed when we didn’t get a call from anyone in the office to follow up after the install; that would’ve been nice. It also would’ve been nice to have the salesperson inform us of our options for the type of transitions from the new carpet to our existing laminate flooring. We ended up discussing this with our installer and decided not to use the metal transitions that we paid for. Also, I’m not sure if it’s typical to assume the homeowner doesn’t want any of the unused carpet. At the end of the 2nd install day, we asked to keep some of the stair carpeting in case there was ever a problem but didn’t to think to ask about the bedroom leftovers from the first day.
