I called the technician out to inspect a gas leak I had in my line going to my hot water heater. To replace the flex line going from the pipe to the hot water heater which is roughly 2 ft and run a hard line, they quoted me a price of $850. They are friendly technicians, but absolutely ridiculous in price. I paid the $64 service call and then went to our local lumber yard and purchased $77 worth of gas line black pipe and did the install myself which took about 2 hours. Their quote to me was not even in the ball field of being reasonable.

The technician was polite courteous and professional. The reason for the 3 stars is because I feel the pricing is outrageous. $547 to clear a clogged drain. Edit: Just because it's a flat rate doesn't mean it's a fair rate. Had I not chosen to go with Best Plumbing you would have sent me a bill for $89 plus the $46 mileage, and then I would have still been stuck calling somebody else costing me more money in the end. To your credit, you did waive the initial $89 and 46 dollar charge for the first day you showed up.
