Berkebile Towing & Auto Service

My insurance company set up a tow for my wife's vehicle. They were supposed to have it picked up with in the hour, After waiting almost the whole hour I got call from.the truck driving saying it would be even longer. We waited almost another hour before receiving an angry call where they asked if it absolutely needed towed today or if it could wait for "three or four days" I explained to them it was our family's main vehicle and needed it done ASAP. The drivers ended up getting lost and canceled the pick up do to there being (a small amount) of snow on the road. This is western PA you should not be a tow truck driver if you're scared of little snow... They were completely unprofessional and I would not recommend them to ANYONE!!

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I don’t even know how this company stays in business. They are unprofessional, rude, and have no common courtesy. They were called by my insurance company to tow my car, I was given a 45 minute time frame for them to be there. 50 minutes later the driver calls to tell me he’s just now heading there. I was upset because my car was sitting in neutral and the keys were stuck in ignition. The first guy said because of that he’d dispatch quicker. That didn’t happen and they still didn’t get there in time frame. After asking driver how long he’d be the driver got snarky, yelling at me about “that’s how his life goes”, and then hung up on me. 4 hours after I was told they’d be there they left my car sit after my husband spoke with driver and didn’t like his tone, insinuating there would be “damage” to my car. My husband called the company and they were to find out what was going on and call back. Two hours later my husband called them back getting some BS answer how they were busy and that’s why he never called back. After almost 6 hours of the initial call another company was called and towed my car. Needless to say they checked everything out for me to make sure things were ok and wasn’t surprised to hear Berkebile Towing didn’t do their job. I strongly encourage everyone to pass by this towing company and find one willing to help and do the job, in expected time frame.
