Huge shout out to Barney’s Auto Repair! My wife had a flat tire right in front of the shop. He didn’t have a tire machine but he did assess the tire as well as filled it with air for her to make it home. All free of charge! This interaction tells me all I need to know 👍
Driving to Anchorage from Fairbanks for hockey games our truck broke down in Wasilla. It was 530 PM on a Thursday. Googled closest shop and it was Barney’s. He got the truck in that night and a new transmission in. Truck is driving perfectly now. I never expected to have this problem fixed by the time we needed to go home, much less overnight. I am so thankfully Barney was there to help! Great experience. Highly recommend.
Brought a ram classic to him to fix the hemi tick supposed to change out the cam the lifters the oil pump got it back. It’s still sounded the same. I sold the truck. I don’t think He did the work. And my heater wasn’t working after that blowing out cold air don’t trust this guy he ripped people off
Mr. Barney has been so helpful.I took my truck to another place to get an alignment and they said they would not do the alignment because I needed about $3500 of work done to make the alignment do anything. I didn’t have that much to get my truck fixed. Called him and he said bring it in and will see what he can do. Yes everything the other shop could use a fix. But he was able to do at get my truck fixed enough to drive safe and will do more in the future for $1200. He got me in during a very busy time for him because I really needed it done. Worked late one night to get it done so I had a vehicle to get kids to school. Very nice guy. I will definitely be using him for all my mechanic needs.
I was in a pinch and needed to tow my car from Wasilla to Anchorage on a Sunday evening. Barney picked up the phone and got to me within 15 minutes. He got my car in to town at a reasonable price, what a lifesaver!
