We found Autocare service center after our previous mechanic retired. Larry, the owner, is honest and reasonably priced. He will not tell you a bunch of things that need done to your car. He does what is needed and is happy to help if something comes up. We usually ask what will need worked on in the near future, and he will tell you honestly. He will call you with prices before he does the work so you know what to expect. I called 6 places for my Honda to compare prices for timing belt and spark plugs and he is definitely on the low end. He’s been working on cars over 30 years and we hope he doesn’t retire soon!
I had my vehicle inspected by autocare and there were two items that needed to be repaired. Both items were repaired in under five days and when I returned to the shop to have it inspected for those items, I was told that I would be charged the full reinspection price. Every other shop that I called said they allow for a 10 day grace period and when I reviewed online, most places allow for about a 30 day grace period for a reinspection and no charge. I would not recommend going to auto care service center if you need your vehicle inspected and there is any risk of having anything fail. Also, I have a 2020 RAV4, so it’s not like it’s an older... Honest regarding suggested/needed car repairs. Quick and friendly service. Larry takes the time to explain repairs and the degree of necessity to fix. Highly recommend Autocare Service Center.
