After my second experience with Appliance Care and Repairβand especially my technician DanβI can say without hesitation this is the most honest appliance service Iβve ever dealt with. This time, my Samsung dishwasher had stopped working properly after I made the mistake of attempting a DIY repair. Dan came out the very next day, exactly when he said he would, just like last time. He began diagnosing the issue and even consulted with a Samsung technician. Based on that conversation, the initial conclusion was discouragingβit looked like I might be facing a repair in the $600 range, and possibly even needing to replace the dishwasher entirely. At that point, most technicians would have stopped there. But Dan didnβt. He said, βLet me check one more thing.β He then disassembled part of the internal mechanism, carefully cleaned it, readjusted it, and put everything back together. The result? My dishwasher now works perfectly. No $600 repair. No new dishwasher. No unnecessary parts. Just experience, persistence, and integrity. And hereβs the part that says everything: I was only charged the consultation fee. Dan could have easily gone along with the original diagnosis. He could have ordered parts. He could have turned this into a very expensive visit. Instead, he trusted his own skill and took the extra time to make sure. That level of honesty is rare. This is now the second time Dan has saved me from a major, unnecessary expense. He shows up when he says he will, he does the job right, and he treats customers fairly. Appliance Care and Repair has a customer for life because of him. If youβre lucky enough to get Dan as your technician, youβre in the best possible hands. Five stars isnβt enough.
