Went in to get a battery replaced. Had an appt, waited about 15 minutes. Woody was very helpful setting up the repair, told me it would be 1 hr 15 minutes. When I came back I waited about 10 minutes & it was ready. Paid for the battery. Everyone was helpful & the process took about 1 1/2 hr or a little more.
Really disappointed. I had a Genius Bar appointment to get my iPad repaired. From one day to the next it just stopped turning on. “My iPad won’t turn on” is one of the options when the website asks the reason for your visit. I come to the store. The tech runs a diagnostic on my iPad and says “ok I have the results of the test. Your iPad won’t turn on”. I said I know that’s why I’m here. She said they do not do repairs on any iPad and could not offer any trade in or replacement options. I was told to throw my iPad out. Since you can never get it repaired if something goes wrong, I learned my lesson - never buy another iPad.
Apple Clarendon deserves a zero star. last week I purchased a new MacBook air (4th). I had agreed with the sales person that after the purchase and delivery of the product to their store that I will come back and they will migrate my data and familiarize me with the new system as they have always done in the past. PC was delivered and at pick up time I have them my laptop and they let me know that they will get in touch with me within 24/48 hrs. They contacted me and I proceeded to pick up the product on Saturday 2/12 pm. The 1st assistant who was supposed to delivery PC, showed up with her computer and proceeded to tell me that she does not have any time to spend with me. She made me sign for the recipe of the computer, refused to assist in any manner (too busy) and refused to even let me sit on a table although it is free! she proceeded to tell me that her manager/ who has more free time (Chris) will help me!!?? Chris showed up and he was more rude and useless than the first kid. I explained what was happening and he proceeded to tell me that he will not help me! He asked me to contact a support service number to get needed support. I asked him if I could schedule a different time that would be more suitable for them and I could person to person help and he absolutely refused with defiance and big guy intimidation... by that time I said to him that I will stay in the store until I get personal help as promised. He replied that you can stay here until 8:00.... implying that nobody will help you. I watched Chris for 30 minutes chat with his colleague(s) and not helping one single client. There is absolutely no customer service at Apple stores any more. There is also simply no geniuses at the various stores... but we kind of knew that along time ago! But to have someone blatantly not helpful, very rude, with Zero courtesy and ample of intimidation it is disturbing! If you are looking for poor service then Chris is your man at Apple Clarendon! I do not know how he is even a manager!
I give the customer service TEN STARS! Right as I walked in, a representative, Muhammad, was immediately at my side assisting me. He cogently explained the difference between old iPhones and the latest editions. Because of this positive experience, I am much more willing to purchase apple products.
I am extremely disappointed with my visit to the Apple Store in Arlington. The level of customer service was shockingly poor. The staff completely ignored customers — no greeting, no acknowledgment, no offer of help or assistance. I waited for over 30 minutes without anyone noticing me. When I finally approached someone who introduced himself as a manager, instead of offering help or calling another associate, he immediately said he was busy with another customer. That kind of unprofessional attitude and lack of attention is unacceptable, especially for a company like Apple. When I asked how long I was supposed to wait, I got no clear answe... That kind of unprofessional attitude and lack of attention is unacceptable, especially for a company like Apple. When I asked how long I was supposed to wait, I got no clear answer — only excuses about being busy because of new product arrivals. My pickup appointment had to be canceled because no one cared enough to assist. This location clearly has a management issue and needs better staff training. Such a poor customer experience is not what Apple stands for. I hope Apple leadership takes action to address the lack of basic customer service standards at this store.
