I bought a pair of Frye boots that turned out to be 1/2 size too small but couldn’t return them. Vlad stretched them (twice!) and added a new rugged tread to the front sole, which took a total of 5 weeks but was well worth the wait. These boots are perfect, worth more than what I paid for them.
I’ve been going to Ainsley Shoe Repair on Piedmont Road for years, and they’ve never disappointed. Their service is always timely, and the quality of their work is excellent. From lifts to taps and any repair I’ve requested, everything has been done right the first time. Reliable, consistent, and skilled—this is a place you can truly trust with your shoes. Highly recommend.
Best customer service ever! Ansley shoe repair not only worked with me to finish repairing my boots a week early with barely any notice, but also shipped them out to me for my last minute trip. They worked hard and went above and beyond to get my boots to me and you really can’t find customer service like this anymore. The prices are fair and they do a great job. I genuinely can’t recommend them enough!!
My shoes are my babies and Vlad treats them with lots of TLC! While I wear several designers heels, my favorite is Christian Louboutin, and with every new pair, I immediately take them to Vlad and have him put a half rubber sole on and let me tell you, he is a master with the famous Louboutin RED! He has been taking care of my collection of heels for well over 10 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Vlad and his wife are always personable and courteous, they give you a time estimate for your repair and have always delivered on time, if not sooner. To be honest, great craftsmanship isn’t to be rushed. I want quality, not quantity. Far more important to have the work done right instead of right now. And Vlad is a true craftsman, doing all work on site, not sending them off as some other “high end” repair shops do. I trust my repairs to no one else.
