Steve did an excellent job repairing a wood armchair that turned out to be far from a simple project. The chair had caning and significant cracks in both top corners of the backrest, and the wood had warped, making it a challenging repair. Throughout the process, Steve was incredibly transparent about what needed to be done. He even called midway through to walk me through some decisions and explain the obstacles he was encountering. The finished result is fantastic. The chair feels solid again, and he was able to discreetly add additional screws for stability—you truly can’t tell they’re there. The craftsmanship is impressive, and he completed the repair in just about a week, which was a very fast turnaround given the complexity of the work. I really appreciated Steve’s honesty, clear communication, and attention to detail. I have several more projects lined up and will absolutely be using his services again. Thank you, Steve!

Steve repaired two Chippendale dining room chairs that had the decorative back panels split across the seam. I thought the panel on one chair was warped beyond repair, but the chairs are a classic and I did not want to give up hope. Steve repaired both chairs beautifully! You could not tell there was ever anything wrong with them, and there is no evidence of the repair! Steve's work and work ethic are impeccable. He is very knowledgable, and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. Steve serviced the chairs quickly and for a reasonable price. I thought furniture repair was a lost art, but my faith was restored with Steve. I have a few more pieces of furniture that need a variety of repairs, and am thrilled to have found someone I can trust to do the work the way it SHOULD be done.

We have a beloved kitchen set with tall chairs that over the years became loose and very wobbly. We were concerned that someone would get hurt if a chair gave way, but did not want to buy a new set. Steve tightened the chair legs and supports so we didn’t have to part with our beloved set! Steve is wonderful to work with.
