Editing original review: After some communication issues about a stove that was malfunctioning, Almonte did come and repair the stove and now it works. Because there was some tension in the initial call and the owner being what I considered rude I am upping my original 1 star review to what I would consider a 2.5 (not an option so I gave it 3) it sill falls short of a perfect 5. Tone of voice and how you respond to customers can give either a negative or positive impression. In the original case when conversations began, it felt negative as I felt he was treating me like I didn't know how to operate the over. After a contentious back and forth a repair man showed up today and in fact diagnosed the issue as a faulty igniter. I feel had the owner or whoever I spoke listened to what I was telling them instead of jumping to conclusions this could have been resolved amicably days ago. In the end they did come and fix it, and it works, but I am not going to lie... I am afraid if another issue happens will I have to go through this again? once the warranty period is over I will definitely not return to do business with Almonte. Kind of sad as when I met the owner in the store and picked out the fridge and the stove he was so nice. Maybe it was a bad day when I called about the issue but still you need to treat your customers with respect all the time. Good word of mouth goes further than bad.

They are husband and wife team i believe. Very good service! I live an hour away and although shipping was a bit pricey it was a steal for what I'm getting. Whirlpool washer and dryer with 1 year warranty. They've got layaway but what was even better is that they've got a deal with Acima and it was a very simple process! The delivery fee, set up fee, and removal of my old appliances was a great deal and it's all included through Amica! If you set up for the 90 day same as cash it's great. But, the only draw back would be that if you miss one payment it rolls over to the 12 mon financing fee which is a bit pricey. Had i to do over I would've just made the extra payments just in case instead of signing up for the automatic withdrawal for the 90 days and kept it the 12 month just because anything could happen. You do need a checking account. Small deposit and then 2/3 days and delivered. Also, the great part is if you get say approval for say 1,800 (more or less) and you only use a portion of... You can transfer the remaining to another company that uses this company as well!! So not so bad ay. They were very informative and very considerate and kind. It was well worth the drive and they've loads to choose from! Mines are scratch and dent but can't even see the scratch. I'm very happy!
