Ace Handyman Services Annapolis

I am writing this review to warn other families to be extremely cautious when dealing with this business. My family's only involvement was to help coordinate services for our in-laws, who were injured at the time and could not manage the details themselves. We acted purely as a point of contact to be helpful during a stressful time. A billing dispute arose where we were incorrectly charged for services provided to our in-laws. When we contacted the business to correct this obvious error, we were met with shocking hostility and unprofessionalism. Instead of reviewing their own records or listening to our explanation, the staff dismissed our legitimate concern as "family drama" and told us to "work it out" ourselves. This response was not only dismissive but completely inappropriate. The situation escalated dramatically when, instead of resolving the billing error, the business threatened to put a lien on our house if we did not pay the bill that wasn't ours. To be threatened in such an aggressive and predatory manner over a charge we are not responsible for is appalling. We were simply trying to help our family, and in return, we were treated like a piggy bank, disrespected, and threatened. This business has demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, compassion, and basic customer service. Their billing practices are questionable, and their dispute resolution process is nonexistent. I would strongly urge any potential customer to find another company that operates with professionalism and ethics. Avoid this business at all costs.

An Ace Handyman (Ron) installed an omni cell-phone antenna on the roof of our two-story home. He did an excellent job, marked by extra thoughtful details, such as putting silicone calking into the holes he drilled before installing the 1/4 inch lag bolts which held the antenna's mounting bracket. Since I supplied the bolts and other fittings and pre-assembled the antenna and its bracket, he reduced the price from the origiunal estimate as that had included those items. In sum, top quality professional work. I am likely to be a repeat customer.
