Update, job they did turned a nickel size rock chip into 10” crack on windshield. Terrible experience here, initially thought they were reliable but they have changed my mind about that. It seems like they “forgot to put filler” knowing it the initial chip would spread, giving them the opportunity to sell us a new windshield. Took in a 2025 Honda Cr-V with a rock chip smaller than a nickel last week on Friday 11/14/2025. I could confidently say the rock chip was no bigger than a nickel. The first day they “repaired” the chip it looked exactly as it looked before I took it in. It looked like there was no filler at all. I asked the technician if it will be good and he told me word for word “you’re good to go, it won’t crack anymore.” I understand things happen but he said this with confidence and as a customer I believed him with confidence. The next day the hole they made to fill the crack was completely visible and the crack had spread 1/2 an inch. They were closed on the weekend, that Sunday the crack had spread to about an inch from the initial chip. Monday comes around and my partner took the Cr-V back… they acted like they never touched the Cr-V. The technician was saying “I didn’t work on that, I only worked on an Accord.” When my partner told them we have a receipt they all of a sudden remembered they worked on our vehicle. My partner heard the technicians say there was “no middle filler” in the first repair. Meaning the first day I paid for the service they didn’t fill the chip. They made the “second repair” at no cost but now there are two drill marks they’ve made on the windshield, they added the filler, it looked like it would be good. On the drive home (less than 10 minutes) the two holes become completely visible and the crack increased in length to 2 inches. I took the vehicle back on Wednesday 11/19/2025 and brought up the situation. The lady at the front was able to take a look at the windshield, I brought up the situation where my partner overheard the tech’s whispering about how they didn’t add the filler on the first repair. The lady working told me word for word “I’m pretty sure I heard them say that too.” So the employee acknowledged the first job wasn’t done correctly. After a while they told me the windshield is now unfixable and we have to buy a new windshield and tried giving me a price for a new windshield. I let her know we couldn’t trust them to do a windshield if they couldn’t even manage to do the job correctly on a nickel sized rock chip, let them know I would give them a review and asked for a refund. When it came to the refund they did refund me my initial $59. However now, today 11/21/2025 the rock chip has spread to about 4 inches and the cost has almost gone up 10x from the initial repair to needing a new windshield. All in all this was a terrible experience and recommend looking elsewhere for anything window related.
