Update: When it rains REALLY hard, water would collect in my dryer vent. I found the issue OUT OF WARRANTY. Lon Smith sent someone right over. I was some crazy venturi effect with the shape of my roof and the vent. There were no workmanship issues. Lon Smith replaced the vent with another type and problem solved. They had never seen anything like it. I will NEVER use any other roofer than Lon Smith. 100% honorable.... Believe the hundreds of positive reviews. Also, beware that anyone can be a roofer, including your friends. All roofing companies are not created equal. I heard two horror stories from coworkers that used part time roofer “friends”. A roof is too important to mess around. You need a bonded, insured company with a good reputation. I asked 2 friends to bid my roof. I couldn’t get a response. Lon Smith responded immediately. Angie in the office called me and scheduled a bid the next day. Tucker came out and gave me a bid within 30 minutes of arrival. The roof was installed within a week. David was my inspector and kept in constant communication. When the roof was done he said there were two issues. I had Christmas light clips along the driveway that weren’t done yet. He thought his guys damaged them. They didn’t. He has the foreman out looking for the same clips! I told him to abort ! Then he said a piece of trim was broken and he had a guy coming out the next day to fix it. I walked around my house and couldn’t find what he was talking about. The guy showed up today to fix it and it was a small corner that was cracked. He spent all day replacing and painting the board. It was literally minor cosmetic damage. My roof was thousands less than my neighbors and I have higher quality shingles and vents. You can’t buy a great reputation. Lon Smith pits reputation over profit. That’s rare on the roofing world. Get a couple bids for your roof. Make sure one is Lon Smith. The choice will be easy and you will have done your due diligence. .

Having to get a new roof can be a costly pain but the minute we called Lon Smith Roofing all our worries faded away! Chris Janecka was our estimator and he could not have been more on top of all of our concerns. Polite and professional never treating us as if we were complicated or a pain. Our big concern was nails being left behind in the grass and workers smoking on the property. We were assured this would not be a problem and it wasn’t. The crew cleaned up every bit of debris each day they worked. Running magnet rollers around the surrounding structure multiple times a day. The crew on site went above and beyond to assist my wife when she needed near the area to retrieve stuff. They kept her, my son and all the animals safe while they worked. I was so impressed with the professionalism and customer support of this company I have requested them work on a second structure. It’s nice to know in today’s society there is still a company that honors Christian Values and offers Customer Service. Thank you Lon Smith Roofing

The Best company to work with! Chris Janecka was our inspector/estimator and he was wonderful to work with! Having a horse ranch our priority is the safety of the horses. Chris and the crew were very diligent at ensuring no nails were left on the ground. They meticulously covered the ground with tarps and cleaned every piece of debris up! I was in shock by the professionalism of the entire staff! It is rare to find a company that treats your property like it’s their own and Chris and the crew absolutely did that! I cannot brag enough about my experience with this company! Customer service is alive and well at Lon Smith Roofing! We will be customers for life! We had a fairly complex patio roof covering to be replaced with decking that had to be removed and reinstalled, and Jeremy Nelson and his team did a great job. The work was completed timely and with a team of true craftsmen.

Lon Smith is the ONLY people I let on my roof...PERIOD! They did a fantastic job in 2016, So when hailmageddon hit Southeast Fort Worth on 6/1/25 and destroyed my roof, I called Lon Smith first, my inurance company second. Lon Smith has lived up to their reputation both times I used them. Their prices are fair, staff are professional, and kept me informed every step of the way, and quality installatio! Alan was awesome in dealing with my insurance company; Jake was an awesome project manager and made sure the few very minor corrections were resolved promptly.Ashley kept me in informed throughout the process. I am very pleased with their service. I even had Jake leave the sign in my yard for a couple of weeks after the roof was in stalled to 1) keep the door-to-door roofers (and I use that term loosely) at bay, but mostly 2) so everyone would know who installed my beautiful roof!
