The clean up was atrocious. We knew trucks and the debris containers would be there but we couldn’t even get to our front door or garage without tripping over crap left on the driveway. We had to clean up some debris after they left. They power sprayed the oil stains off the driveway. They had to pay for 4 plants that were walked on for 2 days. They had to send someone out to fix the broken sprinkler head they broke. I doubt seriously that they magne rolled our yard. I could see missing a few nails but we found 50. Yes 5-0. As you can guess not happy.

As we approach storm season in Fort Worth, I want to remind homeowners to thoroughly research any roofing company before committing. My roof was replaced by Lon Smith Roofing & Construction in 2022. Two years and two months later, I discovered a leak in a closet. After inspecting the attic, it became clear that the flashing had not been installed correctly during the original installation—you can actually see daylight coming through from inside the attic. I contacted Lon Smith about the issue, expecting that a clear installation problem would be addressed. However, I was told that their labor warranty is only two years. Since the problem surfaced just after that window, they declined to cover the repair—even though the issue appears to stem from improper installation. I’m sharing this so other homeowners understand the importance of reviewing warranty terms and workmanship guarantees before choosing a roofing contractor. A roof is a major investment, and installation quality matters just as much as the materials used.

Terrible service, horrible roof job Thomas Kirkpatrick and Josh Brassfield have been unwilling to make the 2 year old roof job they did right after 3 competitors have come out and said the roof is bad and needs to be replaced. 30+ years the representative claims to have but says that he can't find evidence of any leak!? Why would the mayor of Fort Worth claim that this is the best roofing company in Tarrant County??, Doubtful with the evidence I have. No Faith, No Trust in this company ever again!

I contacted this company on August 15th to request a roof inspection. I was told the inspector would be notified and that I would receive a call to schedule the appointment. By August 22nd—seven days later—I still had not heard from anyone, so I followed up with the office. The representative I spoke with said she saw nothing on her end but would pass my message along to the inspector, who would call me back. Another week passed with no response. When I called again, I received the same explanation—that she would reach out to the inspector. When I expressed concern about repeatedly receiving the same answer without any follow-up, the representative became rude and condescending, frequently interrupting me and responding dismissively with, “Like I said,” instead of allowing me to explain my concern. This is unacceptable customer service. By the end of the call, I requested that the inspection be canceled. I will not work with a company that treats its customers this way and will take my business elsewhere for all of my commercial properties in the Fort Worth area.
