N = 1 but first impression was terrific. Walked in with a minor but incapacitating mechanical issue with a laptop (read: extremely urgent, workday), and David dropped what he was doing to give me the 5-seconds of help required to send me on my way. Thank you!
Edit: after a long trip I finally have a chance to look at this pc again and see exactly how much damage they did. I've added a picture that clearly shows why they left the GPU bracket uninstalled. It's because they cross threaded the screw that holds it to the chassis. Sloppy work. Dropping my review to 1 star for blatant incompetence. I'd like a callback from the business owner. I dropped off my workstation with an unknown bootloop issue. System is a Ryzen 5950X / RTX 4080 / 64GB ram. I also supplied an alternate motherboard, RAM, & CPU with the same n.bridge chipset for testing. The last hands on the test equipment was wired solutions. It's been boxed since they last touched it to verify my old GPU was fried. This time the claimed the test equipment was fried and inoperable for testing. When I got my workstation back the GPU bracket was uninstalled sitting in the box of test parts while the guy who worked on it handed it back to me nervously smiling. I would've tested and repaired the system myself, but I'm going away on a 6mo trip and wanted to have the issue identified before I leave so that I could know what I'm coming back to. The tech who looked at my equipment... I don't know what his area of expertise might be, but it's definitely not hardware troubleshooting. With what I gave him, it should have been 90 minutes to swap out CPUs and MOBOs to narrow down the issue. I had to describe how to perform the toubleshooting steps he missed before deciding: stop working on it, I'll figure it out when I get back in six months. Maybe they're better at software these days. The last guy from their company who who looked at my system knew how to troubleshoot. This guy didn't at all. He's good at nervous laughter and leaving systems half put together though.
We are visiting here from Virginia for 3 days, and my laptop, on which I rely, stopped charging last night. Logan (?) quickly figured out and solved the problem as I waited. Truly great service! Thank you!!
