I scheduled a service appointment through Whirlpool, and Westside Appliance Repair called to confirm my information. During the call, they said they already knew the issue and would order the part. I arranged to stay home all day for the scheduled service window (8 AM to 4 PM), but no one showed up. When I called, they told me they decided not to come out and had simply ordered the part instead, and that they would contact me later to schedule the repair. None of this was communicated beforehand by phone or email. I only had the original confirmation from Whirlpool. No solution was offered, and I wasted an entire day waiting with still no update on when the repair will be done.
