Responsive, professional, efficient, and reasonable rates. I contacted Village Plumbing for some minor repairs to our water heaters and to check a couple of issues in a bathroom. Mike was user friendly in explaining things and his advice on one item saved us a lot of money. I will use Village for any plumbing needs going forward. The best.
Village Plumbing team came to my rescue when my toliet unexpectedly starting overflowing and then draining and raining into my basement below at 8am in the morning! They were able come out within a few hours after calling and fully fixed the blockage in our sewer water line and cleaned up the area and then identified what may have caused the issue. They were hardworking, focused, nice and informative throughout the process. They are also locally owned, the owner went to Chapel Hill high school back in the day just like me! I have found my plumbing company for ANY service I need. They were WONDERFUL! Highly highly recommend!
This company is very difficult to communicate with rude and unprofessional, we had to have another company come in to fix their shotty work. The damaged the water heater while installing and refused to fix it.
The initial install of the water heater went well. After the inspection I noticed Jeff had the 50 gallon water heater balanced on three 4-in tall cut PVC pipes that were about 4 in in diameter, thus only 6 points of contact would be holding up the 50 gallon water tank which is meant to be set level on a solid surface. I brought this to his attention and he did drain the tank and then proceed to place the tank back on the stand. He used three pieces of board that he put underneath the water tank one of the pieces of board was slightly less than height than the other two. This made the tank wobbly and unstable. When I had brought this to his attention he came back the next day and crassly secured the water tank to my drywall, it looks really bad he then asked me what else do I want him to do. I apologize for making him upset, he then proceeded to tell me that he's losing money because it took him an hour and a half to get here in an hour and a half back. He was yelling at me and said he's done and just threw his hands up in the air and left my house! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company at all.
This is a great family business. You get to speak to knowledgeable plumber from the first call. They are responsive, quick to come out. When I told them it was an emergency, they fit me in sooner. The plumbers are excellent, willing to explain what they are doing. They do NOT try to oversell services that are not needed. These are honest, professional, highly skilled people. There prices are reasonable.
