Vacuums R Us & Sewing Too - Fort Collins Store

I have difficulty believing this company has an average 5-Star review! I took my perfectly functioning but aging Riccar vacuum in to change a belt. The motor had shifted & I was told b/c of this any new belt would slip off & stress motor so, sadly I left it behind to be recycled. I ordered a new similar model (as there were none available in stock) & was given an est delivery date 3wks out. When I called on that date I was told it wasn’t in & could not give me any tracking info. They suggested I keep checking back or I could cancel my order😳! Of course I didn’t want to cancel so I called back at end of week & was told it was back ordered due to parts unavailability. When asked if they suspected it would take a long time the rep said he had no idea, that a World War just might erupt 😱so there’s no way to predict an arrival. But they could offer a loaner. I said I’d be in that morning to p/u the loaner. When I arrived he handed me a receipt & told me he had cancelled my order “because he couldn’t be able to meet my expectations”🤯. I found another vacuum shop that did have that model in stock. They went online & found there were no back orders of this model & said unfortunately they had heard several customers having a bad experience with this shop. They also told me there was a kit available to adjust the motor of older models where motor had shifted so I could have avoided an expensive purchase!
