We've had a really terribly experience with this shop that's lasted months, and still isn't over. My bf took his Suburu WRX in for some hail damage and while happy at first, once we got home he noticed not only was there a scratch not fixed ....the hood cowl (scoop) was completely cracked! This was in October when he found the crack, called and was told they'd replace it, after speaking with the insurance company. . Ok, easy, right? No. It took months for them to order the new hood cowl and they kept playing games regarding the order. After 2 months of waiting we had to call Allstate ...again ...to help rectify the situation. Allstate actually did a three way call with the shop and my bf was told to bring the car in on Monday, that they just got it in. Hmm...what a coincidence? Anyway, the turnaround to replace the hood cowl (which they broke) was quick, one day! Thinking it was all behind us, he went to pickup the car yesterday and instantly noticed a new scratch on the hood that they tried to paint ....with paint that didn't match! When my bf brought it to their attention he was told they didn't do it, they didn't know what happened .... Funny thing about that is my bf painted cars professionally for 11 years and in fact has the EXACT matching paint for this car in his garage, just in case there's ever a situation he would need it. So, a troll came into to garage, scratched the car, then tried to paint it with the paint he had in his pocket and didn't even use the matching paint that's right on the shelf in the garage? I mean, you tell me the scenario that makes sense where they didn't do it. Oh, and we have before and after photos because after the first situation we weren't feeling super trustworthy, but the insurance company said we needed to go back and have them finish the job since there was already a claim. Not sure how this will end up, but hopefully they just do the right thing. I see that most of the other views are super positive, and that's great, but it was definitely not our experience. This started in August (hail damage) and we are still not done. I'm not one to blast a company's GBP, I get that's important, but that's why I'm here... Aside from months of waiting there's been several hours worth of phone conversations between Allstate and the shop, in addition to drives there and back, at this point and we are just tired of it and want the car fixed....the right way.
