Upstate Hardwood floors

I had the pleasure of working with Bob And Mike from Upstate Flooring. They did a fantastic job on our home. We had some really gross (colored carpet with some beautiful hardwood underneath. They listened to my concerns and preference of using Dura Seal over Minwax and used my preferred product which I appreciated. They worked tirelessly, in the blistering heat of the past few weeks to remove carpet and refinish the floor for about 2000 square feet. More than happy with the work on the house and would definitely recommend them in the future.

The pictures speak for themselves. We’ve had floors redone before. These guys either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care. They offered to repaint the stairs, but they would have needed to paint our entire upstairs. I would HATE to see what their painting looks like if they sling stain all over the place like this. There are also shoe prints and finger prints in the stain that they sealed in, so we forever get to look at their footprints. They also walked with stain covered shoes all over our kitchen floor and left footprints that won’t come off. All of our doors have stain covered handprints. I do NOT recommend them.

After getting some quotes from other reputable companies to tear up my 1885 Douglas fir flooring that i had uncovered under some carpet in my house, I found Bob from upstate hardwood. He came right away for an in person quote, and got right to work. The tedious work for the small area we were looking to do was not too much for him, and I was shocked that Bob & Mike finished the job in 3 days!! They worked all day to get the job done quickly for me as I have 3 young children and it blocked off a large portion of our house. My floors look AMAZING, the price was so reasonable, and you can tell that Bob truly appreciated restorting old floors to their former glory, which was so important to me. I would absolutely recommend Upstate Hardwood Floors.
