Felt genuinely taken care of, even with a job that didn't pan out. If you know anything about early-2000's German performance cars, you know they aren't often easy to diagnose or fix, and some mechanics (understandably) run and hide altogether. My BMW M5 was brought to TUE with an elusive electrical problem, and I knew right away this crew was equipped to properly troubleshoot a special car like this. And troubleshoot they did, for this issue turned out to be practically impossible to diagnose! Despite the holidays, though, I felt well communicated with, and both George and Rafael later took the time to break down all of the different steps they followed, the diagnostic equipment they used, how said equipment was supposed to work, and why it ultimately didn't. They then offered several good suggestions for my next steps. The original issue never got actually solved, but I came away confident that the team had indeed put their heads together and tried everything at their disposal for this unusual problem. Labor-wise, they charged very modestly for their efforts -- far less than they could have for the time it spent there. I think a shop's honesty when faced with a failed job is just as important as with a successful one. I intend to use TUE in the future because of this!
